Pre-Team / Recreational Gymnastics

Age Requirement: 18 months & Up

In Pre-Team we help your child build a foundation for their career as a gymnast. Our focus is on strengthening and developing their muscles and muscular habits.

We offer three levels of classes depending on where your child is at in their skills and their age.

Level 1

Age Requirement: 4+

Level 1 is an introductory level to prepare gymnasts for competition, and into the mindset of learning routines.

    • Stretch jump onto mat and then kick to handstand fall to flat back

    • Pullover
    • Cast
    • Back Hip Circle
    • Under-swing dismount OR Sole-circle dismount
  • Beam

    • Side Handstand Dismount

    • 3/4 Handstand

    • Split Jump (>30°)

Level 2

Age Requirement: 5+

Level 2 is an introductory level to prepare gymnasts for competition, and into the mindset of learning routines.

Level 3

Age Requirement: 6+

Level 3 focuses on detail and technique of the introductory level to prepare gymnasts for competition, and into the mindset of learning routines.
